Turkeys ยท breed reference
Milk-chocolate brown head to toe โ the old Southern plantation turkey, common before the Civil War and nearly erased by it. Not an APA variety; kept going by a handful of breeders. Genetically a black turkey with two doses of the brown gene, which is why chocolate poults turn up in Black and Bronze matings now and then.
