The BLUE-EGG Coturnix — a recessive gene (“ce”) that skips the brown speckle coat and leaves the shell celadon blue, bred into dedicated lines. Both parents must carry it, and even a true pair throws some brown-egg layers — you breed toward blue, cull by shell.
