The ENDURANCE pigeon — the sport is simply how long a kit stays airborne over the loft, and competition Tipplers fly PAST TWENTY HOURS nonstop, dawn to full dark, landing only when the keeper shows the droppers. No race course, no clock but the sky. The discipline is the keeper's as much as the birds': feeding and training decide whether a kit flies six hours or eighteen.
