Guinea Fowl · breed reference

Pure white from the keet up (not albino — dark eyes), with the pale skin and clean carcass that made it the meat colour; the French white is half the pintade trade. THE RANGE WARNING at full strength: a white guinea on green pasture is the most visible bird on the homestead, and hawk losses show it. Carries the French (Jumbo) strain row.
