🪿 Pomeranian
Geese · breed reference
The Baltic farm goose, and in the US the SADDLEBACK is what people mean by the name — a white bird with a coloured mantle over back and thighs. THE BRITISH “BUFF BACK” AND “GREY BACK” ARE THIS BIRD'S COLOURS, not separate breeds; they're pinned here so two names don't become two entries. Breed marks are a pink-orange bill and a SINGLE-lobed paunch where a Toulouse has two. A real watch goose, and critically rare in the US.
