๐ชฟ American Buff
Geese ยท breed reference
Apricot-buff, American, and the easiest goose here to live with. THE COLOUR IS A PRACTICAL ADVANTAGE, not decoration: buff plumage means PALE PIN FEATHERS, so a half-plucked carcass doesn't come up stippled black the way a grey goose does โ the same reason the market dropped the Cayuga duck. Sits tight and raises her own goslings, which the Embden won't. Livestock Conservancy: Threatened.
