Ducks ยท breed reference
Albert Franz began it in Chemnitz in the 1930s; the war destroyed all but a few birds and he rebuilt it in the 1950s from what was left. Arguably the best big dual-purpose duck going โ over 200 large eggs AND a real carcass, which almost nothing else manages. Drakes wear blue-grey heads over rust; the ducks are apricot.
