WILLIAM COOK'S OTHER BIRD — the man who made the Orpington chicken made this duck at the same Kent farm in 1897, and it has the same soft manners. Fast to the table for a dual-purpose duck. The buff colour is a dilution and does NOT breed fully true; expect blues and browns out of a buff pairing. The APA breed name is just BUFF.
